T'is the season to be fashionable on Playstation Home and Granzella released a sensational catalog of Winter Dresses for you to enjoy. This article will feature the Knit and Flower Dresses, along with a few accessory suggestions to add some flavor to the already-tasteful apparel.

Home has been great this year. So much evolution on fashion, movement, and personal space presentations. With 2012 coming to a close and all of us bundling up to survive the winter winds and the building snow, I personally can't wait for what the developers have in store for the Home community.

Granzella being my primary example to the aforementioned statement. For each release their content has done nothing short but astound the plenty who enjoy the creativity. So many times I've reviewed Granzella's commodity and so many times they've surprised me with great sense of innovation and experience.

For this article, I will say it again: Granzella's sense of creativity and innovation just really astounds me. And while we're entering the winter season, the developer has provided some diversity for your wardrobe in the form of the Knit and Flower Dresses, respectively.

Flower Dress

Price: $3.99 per-bundle (Blue, Red, and Purple)

Style: Seasonal Dress

Model: Ruby Princess

I remember viewing these items upon release and, from an early-on impression, I wasn't interested whatsoever. More than likely, it was greatly due to the premature aesthetic approach on the apparel but upon purchasing it anyways, I found something that's not only interesting but greatly rewarding about this bundle.

From the jump, you'll greatly notice the cumbersome color options on the Dress, detailed with very exquisite flower patterns that is very easy on the eyes. The soft white color blends pretty well with the optional colors on the flowers and adds a very nice touch to not distract or be too loud on the commodity. The accessories--which comes bundled with the Cute Beret (3 sizes of small, medium and large), Fluffy Pigtails hairstyle, and Heeled Boots--was the surprising turn-about for me. The Heeled Boots are pretty versatile when you combine them with other outfit deigns. Very sleek and well tailored. The Fluffy Pigtails hairstyle is slightly similar to the released, yet very popular Vanille's Hairstyle found in the Final Fantasy XIII costume section in Threads/Costumes but comes with an identity of its own.

The winner for me from this bundle is the cute Beret, which I find that not many are aware of the features from this one item. From a glance, it looks like a generic Beret with very limited use. Not many users on Home would agree on Hats worn or their interests in them at all with reasons being that you don't retain your original hairstyle or the style of the Hats aren't to their expectations.

Well if you notice in these photoshoots, Model Ruby Princess is wearing her favorite Sexy Ninja hairstyle with the said Beret, which caught me right off guard when I tried the Hat with my Socialite hairstyle and it fits perfectly. I don't truly know the purpose for having three different size options for the Beret but this is something I can personally decompose and provide a small, detailed update ala video presentation in the future, but this is a great leap towards creating stylish Hats while retaining your very own hairstyle and I'm curious to see what Granzella (or any other developer, provided they are taking notes from this) will do in this area of creativity in the future. To effectively have these Berets in the Headphone section of the wardrobe is nothing short but excellent.

If I were to say anything wrong with the presentation, I would have to say the Red Flower Dress is more pink than red. I also felt that while having three different size options for the Beret, while cool, were a bit too much, especially if it's a part of the reason why the pricetag is at $3.99 for the bundle. If there were some balance, I would've just stuck with the medium sized Beret and maybe add a couple more accessories, like a cute Clutch Bag and Earrings or just one of the two alone.

Then again, I feel that there aren't any accessories you could play with on these designs. The color presentation, along with the Beret, is fine as is. Overall, if you desire something cute and serene this holiday season, the Flower Dress set can be purchased in Granzella's Casual section of the Store.

Knit Dress

Price: $1.99

Style: Winter Knitted Dress

Model: Jin Lovelace

Unlike the Flower Dress, I had knowledge of these Dresses upon announcement and I couldn't wait for the opportunity to don these items and flaunt it for all to see. I had so much anticipation on the Knit Dresses, I just can't configure into words.

Simply put: they are amazing when worn. As sensual and very sultry to the appeal, the knitted Dresses truly fits like a dream and even senuates a bit of comfort and warmth, complimenting even the Christmas 2012 public space or the Winter Vacation Villa personal space.

At $1.99 you can't ask for anything more than what you're seeing or getting here. You would think the Dress would come bundled with the Ribbon Booties (sold for $0.99 each in three colors: Pink, Beige, and Blue Gray) but alas are sold seperately, which I prefer. What I like about the Knit Dress is how the fabric plays so well with the light source in certain spaces, the Winter Vacation Villa being being one of my examples. The details are so enriched, they really do have a very well handcrafted look.

The colors are sensational and elaborately effective. The Blossom Pink Knit Dress is just cutely tailored beyond reason to not wear it at all. There are such Dresses on Home that rebels against certain hair colors and even styles. While the Dresses overall can play in your favor on color, they limit what styles you put with them as longer hairstyles bleed right through the turtleneck. In some ways, this can be an unattractive feat but it seems that The Socialite hairstyle might retain some of it's beauty. It's up to you if you wish to play in that area but I'm very well content on using some of the ravishing short hairstyles available, along with the platinum blonde hair color.

I find that the Knit Dress have quality subtleties that not many other Dresses on Home can provide, especially when it comes to accessories. The Knit Dress doesn't necessarily commands attention for them but it's fun to play around with certain aspects, areas, and colors of what you have to give what your wearing personality and identity, enhancing your character along the way. Though you can wear the apparel "as is" or "naked" as one can surmise but for me, I like to expand my mind a bit on what I am purchasing. :)

Who would imagined purple can be pink's best friend?

Accessories: Gatsby Cap, Purple Python Purse, and Drey  Platform Heels - Plumtastic

I tend to extend my fun beyond with off-set colors to really make certain items "pop" without being too loud. This accessory set clings with the blossom pink color very deliciously while retaining quality class I like.  The Gatsby Cap is still one of the more mature and great looking head items on Home and to have such a seniority in the Threads Store, it still preserves a great cosmetic look that you can whip out anytime. I also favor the color hues of purple and pink blending well together with the Hat and Dress, complimenting the Purple Python Purse naturally; it is a commodity that I don't see often worn on Home.

The Drey Platform Heels: Plumtastic are just a monotone color but adds an enriching look to the overall design that tastefully latches onto the Dress and the accessories brilliantly. I simply chose this color scheme and accessories simply because while the Drey Blush Pink Clutch Purse and the Soft Pink Stilettos can be proper with the Dress, it was nothing more but--a lack of a better word--boring.

The Dark Gray Knit Dress is very complex in color and style. As it appears to be a monotone Dress is actually two, with Jet Black being the trim of the design. Now how this can be decomposed as a fashionable item for you is left to be imagined by the beholder. For me, I find the color to be bold with a sense of dignity and sheer complexity. The Necklace wrapped around the turtleneck design truly stands out with this particular color.

Accessories: Billabong - Mod 3 Knitted Hat, Scrunchy Boots, Drey Tassel Earring - Black.

Suggested Item: Sheepskin Knee Boots - Black, Drey Gray Bow Clutch Bag with Bangle, Drey Charcoal Leather Saddle Bag, Cerulean Clutch.

I kept this simple a bit and blended some black items with the Dress for a more matching presentation with the black trim. I like how the dark colors of the accessories really wrap around the apparel nicely. However, I didn't find this, overall, to provide an impact to me, as there are many black Dresses on Home but not at all something that I would omit as an option to wear every now and then. And definitely not at all am I suggesting that this isn't a astonishing design; just felt like it was just another dark-colored item.

However, the Monochrome Argyle knitted variant completely woke up my creative side like a good cup of Joe brewed from the finest, freshest beans (as they say "the best part of waking up" :P) that money can buy. Simply put, I find myself more in this color out of the three but by this also, this is the trendiest of the three as well. These days, I often see many that would wear this Dress with uninspired accessory designs that doesn't carry out the overall character of this item, for many just don't take the item serious.

But as much as I like to say that I have this vast knowledge of the color scheme used for this Dress, sadly I do not. However, this is something I wish to see more in the fashion wardrobe: collective, complex color and pattern designs that are cumbersome yet easy to the eyes. I like this risk (if I should even call it) and this was very well done.

Accessories: Drey White Oversized Bag, Boots with Woollen Legwarmers, Hunting Cap (Black Checked), Drey Tassel Earrings - Gold, Oval Shaped Glasses - Red Rim

There are so many suggestions that I can give to you but I truly think to not exploit it all (unless requested) I rather have it your way to discover some of the best accessories available that would compliment this lovely Dress. For this, I experimented with the Woollen Legwarmers and find that it really brings out the warmth and comfort to the avatar. Along with the very stylish Hunting Cap to match the checkered pattern found on the apparel, I decided to add a splash of red to the mix with the glasses, which I find are the--with a doubt--best eye wear on Playstation Home.

Though there are so many versatile shoe and accessory options to choose from, the Monochrome Argyle Knit Dress accepts a plethora of accessories that marries so well together.

Overall

I don't know about anyone else but I doubted that these Knitted morsels would release here to the US shores of Home. Maybe it's due to the appeal factor that's facing against the over-abundant locomotion items but be as it may, these items can provide a great sense of warmth to your day out in the Christmas 2012 public space, at the Sportswalk, or out and about at the Mall with friends. But more so, I wish to see more Dress designs like these on Home.

They are excellent, fashionable, and something that I'm proud to feature in our Winter Catalog.
