Strutting Heels by Lockwood

The Strutting Heels by Lockwood looks to be an innovative collection and to accessorize efficiently with your fashions. But are they truly worth your money?

By Jin Lovelace.

Lockwood has been pretty busy this year. While it's great to see the developer creating some LMOs, personal spaces and furniture, there's no denying that their fashion senses are one of a kind. Their take on the apparel are one to note and unlike the days where it was just crop tops and mini-skirts, Lockwood has begun to release some of the most elaborate fashions from their vault and it's to say, I'm loving each release. While others have their own opinions about the select brands and the options available on the apparel, the next statement will probably have you thinking....

When it comes to the shoe selection on Home, Lockwood has a much broader, extensive footwear catalog on Home.

And with the new Strutting Heels collection by Lockwood, this is definitely a welcoming addition to my wardrobe.

You can purchase 6 in a value pack for $2.99

For the Classic Stiletto Heels, you're presented with six accessible colors to choose from. In comparison to the older designs of the Stiletto Heels, these don't bare any ribbons and are designed to fit more appropriately with a comfortable appeal. While the assorted heels are fifty-cents more than the initial released commodity, these are much sleeker and very-well pronounced. Notably, the cream and plum colors are great for off-white designs or for matching specific trim colors in your outfits.

Stilettos with Leg Warmers are a touch up to the collection and adds some interesting flair to any design with use of shorts and leggings.

A style for an upcoming Catalog, with the use of Stilettos with Leg Warmers

These leg warmers add a subtle touch to your wardrobe and outfits, much akin to this Winter concoction for an upcoming catalog. Very charming, indeed. :)

The final set would be the lovely Stiletto Boots with two types of apparel: Jeans and Shorts. I feel the concept on making the Boots exclusive to only the shorts and jeans was a let-down because this would've been an absolute joy to come up with some styles with the use of them.

Though with my time over in EU and only having the little items I could scrounge, it was fun playing with some of the older items with the shorts. While the shorts are great (I wish they were sold separately), pairing them with the boots makes them seem a bit too limited for styles.

The samples here shows off the fun that can be had with the usage of colorful tops to effectively combine with the commodity.

While I laud the boots & shorts combination, I'm not too sure on the Super Skinny Jeans version. My distaste for the pants alone is one thing but to pair them with the Boots isn't truly a bad thing. It's not as hideous as to what my eyes wish them to be.

I still don't agree on how they make my torso appear to be bigger, the Boots makes up for the design on the lower legs. Even so, I believe it was a better idea for these Stiletto Boots to be sold separately than paired with the chosen apparel.

Overall

Is this Strutting Heels collection worth it? It sure is, and then some. Nothing wrong adding some diversity to your wardrobe and the ultimate value pack (for $5.99) is the perfect choice if you want to collect them all or to just gain access to even some of the footwear available in this line. The bonus is also the Strutting Animation that comes with it, and that itself is of quality value.

Lockwood will always remain the go-to brand for the assortment of footwear and with this collection I hope to see a broader range in style, color, and for the items to be sold separately. Thanks Lockwood for releasing these items. :D
