The Depths of U Love Green (Interview)

U Love Green releases a brand new line of eco-chic fashions on Home, solely based on their real world commodity. Not only will we explore a bit on how these vivid items translate so well into the virtual construct, we also explore a bit with the Founder of the fashion line herself, Ms. Dani.

Written by Jin Lovelace.

Simplicity:

-Noun

  1. The quality or condition of being easy to understand or do.
  2. The quality or condition of being plain or natural.

It's a wonderment on how something as straight forward as a focal word simplicity. Something that I had grasped upon since childhood to appreciate the simple things in life. We all strive to become something, someone. To uphold our integrity, train our intelligence, beautify our existence through sheer glamour, acceptance. A concept that not many are fully capable of comprehending, and most definitely not easy to master.

We all desire a Staples "Easy" button to get through the harsh tests that mother nature throws at us. It takes just one button to simply get to the top, but it takes courage and ambition, drive...to achieve certain goals not most could withstand.

The essence of simplicity is natural; calm like the cool breeze from a lightly gusted wind playing softly upon your skin, dancing through each strand of your hair; to breathe in the crisp natural scent of its essence transcends you into a world where that easy button isn't no longer efficient, but rather non-existent.

Hard work, persistence.....that drive I'd spoke about is what can come to mind when one soaks in the depths of what the developer, Codeglue, and the fashion line, U Love Green, released into the Home community.

In times where raging blizzards that wish to denounce the truths of warm and embrace with replacement of roaring heats from your Fireplace and solace found in your to-lazy-to-reach Snuggie, this new release assures you that it's all simply your figment of the imagination. At a glance, these styles would purvey some thought of how skimpy or rather "raunchy" the line looks, but I promise you it's much beyond than what you (or anyone--even I) can possibly measure. The subtleties that surrounds this new line isn't just "sexy" or something that'll make you look "awesome"; it's the sense of ease of comprehension that's received when wearing these items.

Massage Situations (Spa Treatment)
It's much like a neat trip to your local Spa in search for relaxation from an electric day; for once to feel what it's like to be pampered. It's the natural essence of these fashions that really stands out amongst all on Playstation Home; if something this simple, this vivid can capture your thoughts, your mind to ever possibly appeal to the convenience what this apparel can apply, you're in for a pampering treat.

Sometimes, when you get home the first thing that you do once you get through that door is to take off whatever it is that's weighing you down and to slip into something fathomable to suit your calm. For this, I find that this new release from U Love Green to do this justice. Not only does it expands above the spectrum of comfort and serenity, but the added bonus to this is the beauty what simplicity has to offer. Their take on the Camisole top to combine effectively with the Boyshorts with a satin loop finish, is just breathtaking. What I find charming here is how the lingerie grips every inch of your hips, waist, and buns so gently and naturally entices the wondering eye.

For an added finish, the accessories this time around are one of the many versatile items I see can be worn with almost any outfit creation you can muster. The Wedge Sandals are insanely different than what's lain in the Home wardrobe. The details found in these shoes are sensational and looks amazing with any casual fit you can call for. The Necklaces comes in two types: long and choker. Both are cost efficient, effective, and dazzling to the touch, without adding any sort of glamorous flair, or being too loud. And finally, the Natural Hairstyles (Braid and Bun) goes wonderfully with either these outfits or with any occasional motif of the day, week, whatever.

Overall, this release was something I didn't expect so soon from the devs, let alone on how it would create such an impact to me or either of my friends. The only thing that's baffling to me was how the few would state such simple underwear equates to being "hoochie" or "raunchy", which I won't dignify with an answer; to truly expound on this sort of negativity would be pointless due to the lack of knowledge those said few do possess.

-Interview

I don't know about anyone else but possibly imagine that you were just idle with your friends in the comfort of your own home, and you receive a notice that someone of inspiration would love to visit you. Now when you accept the person's invitation, they quickly came to you to simply greet you and encompass you with words of great encouragement, something you weren't quite well prepared for....to which it induces you to a vertigo state, but in a good way.

This was the exact feeling I had when U Love Green's designer, Dani, showed up at my Tuscan Villa personal space while relaxing and chatting with a friend.    It was an unexpected, yet pleasant visit from the one who has quite possibly changed the way of how simplicity can be rather ravishing than glamorous. However, this virtual line of fashions isn't just the designer's only expertise, for going beyond her sheer pleasantries of capturing the attention of the media and press alike on her real life fashions have left a very subtle, yet gracious presence to the eyes she's captured.

Here's my sit down with Ms. Dani on her fashions for the real world and Playstation Home.

JinLovelace: To the Twilight Touch readers, please inform them who you are and your occupation.

Dani: I’m Dani, entrepreneur and designer of U Love Green, an ethical and organic clothing brand

-How long you've been a client of Playstation Home?

I'm a Home user since the open beta started. I saw all the evolution of the virtual world of Sony since 2009.

Jin- To start, your real-life fashions on Home has been a great inspiration and a testimony on how one's creativity has translated into the virtual world. Have you ever thought of your apparels being brought over to Home? What were your thoughts on the items being created for Home use?

Dani -Not at first. But I quickly had the wish to do a virtual version of my U Love Green collection on Home. Once Codeglue and I did it, I was really satisfied of the results and the Playstation Home's community welcomed the line pretty well :-)

Tell us a bit about your brand, U Love Green. Many of my friends have wondered the coined term "eco-chic" that described your line

The name brand speaks for itself. It is a green line with an environmental perspective. U Love Green is caring for the well-being of both individuals and the global community.

ECO:  U Love Green is engaged in sustainability by the use of natural resources and by its local production as well. Local production implies minimal transportation and so minimal pollution.

CHIC: U Love Green fashion is based on clean and simple lines creating its elegant and discreet charm.

What finally gave you the opportunity to turn your real fashion designs on a virtual collection? How is  the relationship with Codeglue?

Peter De Jong, the founder of Codeglue, really liked the real U Love Green line. Since the first day, we have had a wonderful partnership and I really enjoy working with Peter and his crew. As everyone knows,  I’m also a Home user. It helps a lot for every decision and the steps of item development.

I see your designs as sultry, classy, mature. Surreal and bold, something that quite rare these days on Home. What is your purpose behind these designs crafted?

The magic words are… INSPIRATION and COMFORT !

Mid 2012 saw a great pop in fashion on Home and it appears to not slowing down. Now that Granzella, Veemee and even the premiere developer Lockwood has established a brand for crafting some fantastic looking items, did you ever felt the intimidation factor from them? Did you see them more as an inspiration on releasing your items on Home?

I have no reason to be "intimidated" by others creations. I love what they do as well. I really appreciate on Home that everybody can find something they like. Each personn is different and, like in real life, everybody can show their own colors. This way, each brand propose various and different items. The difference with U Love Green it is that the virtual line is based on a real clothing line. As a designer, I’m really happy to have the opportunity to share my vision in real life and also in the virtual world :-)

HSMagazine provided a great article about women in the gaming industry and how it's starting to become a great impact. What can you provide to some of the inspiring artists, game designers, fashionistas out there who wish to also break into this medium?

I encourage people to follow their dreams! Especially as the world of video games continues to grow! I think feminine contribution and vision are necessary !

Fast Forward to 2013, can you elaborate on your plans this year with U Love Green for Playstation Home? What do you wish to see happen with your brand?

I must say, many  dreams have already come true since I launched U Love Green at the end of 2011. It is sure that I will continue to work on new designs and I hope to share them with everybody not only in 2013 but also in the next years !
