After a year in a half hiatus from Playstation Home, Diesel comes back to the north american shores with their latest fashion attire, with some attractive prices. Here are my thoughts on the latest fashions and what I hope to see from the brand.

OH EM GEE, DIESEL'S BACK!!
That was my thoughts when I saw these items on Home's January 30th updated. Diesel has made a name for releasing virtual commodity based on their real-world fashions. Though their prices were questionable to some of the customers (and with a valid point; $1.99 for a T Shirt at that time was a bit too steep) there were no denying of how the items were flavorful and brilliant.
But overtime, the brand was pretty much becoming a stalemate, with literally no update on their clothing commodity, aside from providing the community with a public (and personal) Beach space, with the aesthetics meeting a pale taste to my imagination when considering just how it replacing the late Irem's Beach. It was just a bit to "earthy" for my appeal.
To this day, it's rather daunting to see anyone wearing such past items from Diesel, making any sense of fashion impact to the Home denizens. Though it had quite a potential, it didn't help when all of their items were similarly named "SAPTU" or "SERTU" and "LAMAIN", which the average user wouldn't know the meaning to those names.
While these fashions were released in the European region of Home some time in 2012, it's great to finally see these wonderful depictions brought over to the north american shores. This time around, these items are comprehensible, stylish, and versatile; they look extremely good "off-the-rack" or combined with other clothes of your choosing.

L - Vasti Jacket ($1.99) and P - Iodine Pants and Boots ($1.49)
In this age where an elegant dress is averaged around $1.99, the L - Vasti Leather Jacket has a justification of its price tag for being one of the best well-designed jackets of it's kind. It features a well-design leather exterior with a long-sleeve shirt with the shirt cuff folded outside of the jacket. It's the subtle details like this really makes an outfit stand out among the rest on Home.
The P - Iodine Pants and Boots is really good if you wish for something much different than the age old Leather Pants found on Threads. What I like is how it conforms and hugs tightly to your legs. My gripe to this is while I simply love the boots, these could had been sold separately. I'm not really a fan of baked-in shoes with pants combo, as it limits my creativity on color styles.

P - Dust Trousers ($0.99) and Collards Women's Shirt Blue ($0.99)
For this next set, I adore the Blue Collard Women's Shirt simply because the way how it playfully exposes the chest, with the long sleeves rolled to the top of the forearms. The relaxed essence of the top compliments almost any pair of shorts, preferably the Memory Shorts found in Billabong.
Complexity comes to mind when I saw these P - Dust Trousers but what I like about the pants are the amazing attention to detail, along with the straps hanging aside of the hips. Again, something about the relaxing nature of the two commodities really hits home so well.

Real life Grupee Jeans
Finally we're graced with the Grupee Jeans, which are finely crafted, translated skinny jeans which hugs the legs every so lightly. They're pretty much your common commodity found on Home, which you can't get enough of. I find this iteration to be well designed, not overly done. Just something simple for any casual items on Home. it's good to note that you won't find the dreaded Heels glitch on these pants present too much.
Overall
While these items aren't spectacular in a sense of being the pioneer items, this is nonetheless a great step forward for the first name brand on Playstation Home. The price tag is very attractive this time around, the styles are sleek and have a edgy tone to the designs, and the casual motif really plays heavily well to the overall presentation. I didn't bother purchasing Diesel's Light Blue Bikini due to the lack of aesthetic appeal but if you wish for a swimsuit variant, it's $1.49 with a denim-like finish.
I sincerely hope Diesel continue to release their commodities on Home, as I would love to see more stylish, casual apparel on Home.
Cheers Diesel, and welcome back. :)
