Belle dis Moi is an upcoming fashion show which will dive into the creative side to pull off an intriguing, stimlating inquiry: would you wear it?
By Jin Lovelace.
Belle dis Moi...
It translates to "I say beautiful" (or "Belle de Moi" which is Beautiful to Me), a derivative from the song "Sadeness" by Enigma. the song served a bit of an inspiration to the name, let alone this wild concoction of an idea to simply host a Spring fashion show of the namesake. Now, I've told a few people about this project (as of this writing you might see how incredibly huge this might be, to which a subtle hint is lain in the photos) and perhaps I still have a lot of content that I can't discuss right now but what I can do is provide my synopsis and what to expect, more so upon what I seek.
Yes, seeking is the word I'm loosely utilizing for now. Keep reading, as I'm sure this will intrigue you further.
Over the recent months I've been thinking on the releases of furniture and fashion commodities along with several personal spaces. It's an amazing feat on how Home has evolved into this gigantic social powerhouse for your multi-media gaming console. It's hard to put into perspective on how a virtual items can expand beyond the minds and perspectives to really go beyond the trend--the norm, if you will--and just give it a chance. After all, life is about chance, yes?
Writing developer PR work can be fun. Too much fun, especially if you were to compare to the copy/pasta works from others as well. I can talk fashion, praise others work, simply just indulge into that bliss to convince my audience the product they're contemplating upon purchasing should be considered (or not). But all the hustle 'n bustle to create such a realm can be quite tiresome. In fairness, I just want to actually enjoy Home and the medium simply for what it is. Normally I purchase the items, decompose the product and then share my thought on it. Lately, I've missed my times creating some designer fashions to purvey thought to the many out there that desire something intriguing, to captivate one's mind. To arouse the curious minds upon actual fashion, frankly selling the items.
Many would, however, complain upon certain prices on the fashion commodities and not truly see beyond what themselves could achieve but desire diversity to suit their own tastes, but is quickly met with the harsh realities of not getting their way. Yeah sure, many are bound to their life's cycle and how they organize their aspects.
But you know....don't you desire to just ever break free from the said cycle and to try on something much comfortable?
Like those Jovie Denims you constantly go to window shop for, though your friends suggest that you avoid due to how certain Heels "bleed" right through the cuff of the Pants. How about the Dress you've had your eye on but the rampant doubts on how to properly accessorize and coordinate with such gown?
What if both of these aspects could put into one perspective to feature such a style that may (or may not) be suitable to your palette?
Well....would you wear it?
This is what my upcoming Spring fashion show revolves around; desirable fashions purveyed by the mind of one Jin Lovelace. I'm simply tasking myself to create several designer outfits and styles, along with coordinating accessories to create unique concoctions and entice the curious.
Yes, I'm actually running a fashion featuring styles by your's truly. And this can't get any greater. Provide the fact there's a lot of hard work involved but the results come aplenty.

I simply don't desire to create a realm of glamour and bliss but to express sensuality, elegance, sensible, and a hint of sexy. What you're getting here is a first hand on what's goes on in my mind, actually feeling and wearing the styles with accurate tastes; to gain a peace of mind or thought on how certain items not many would really give a chance to could actually work. After all, we're met with aesthetics on how certain items are crafted (believe me, there are just too many that I dare not touch due to the disregarding form of skimpy designs that don't heighten the sense of rhythm and mood to the fashions) and how it's worn on others.
But lets take how you see five people wearing the exact same outfit. Now put you within that group of five. Ask yourself, out of the five--including yourself--how can you stand out amongst that crowd? After all, the other four dire for attention and can't help but seek it through the means of wearing what intrigues more to them than possibly you, but with poor execution to properly construct the design to stick out like a delicate red rose.
This is something that I wish to expound upon. I simply wish to showcase outfits that go beyond the trend (as only what Home can allow, mind you) and feature a whimsical way to enjoy the medium or, perhaps, at least enjoy the items.
Over the next few weeks I will be organizing this project while keeping my eye on the ever-growing fashion cookie jar, with the help and support of a few friends and developers whom I can't thank enough. There will be numerous updates and articles that'll surround this project as well.
I'm seeking only just a few Home consumers that're interested in modeling my designs. I will prepare an extensive kit for the participants along with the styles.
My suggestion is that if you're interested in anyway or you would like to enjoy watching the showcase to reach me via Facebook or to reach me at my email address (whichever is convenient to you) and state your interest to this behemoth of a project. The target date for this will be for *April 24th, so please come with a prepared mind and ready to have fun.
Of course, I'm ready to see how many will react to what's in-stored. :)
*Target date is based upon the weekend and is subject to change.
