The Desire Collection from JAM Games is an example of how Valentine apparel is done right. Here, we not take a look at this fashion collection but also have a talk with one of the JAM Games Team Members, who is as cute as they come.

Yes, everyone has their favorite developer, favorite item, favorite personal space, game, food, tasty treats, just about anything that piques our interest the most. Many would spout these days how often "their" favorite developer is more innovative than the other when it comes to such fashion commodities, but the end result is all bark than bite. In this era where flying around on a Disc is slightly cooler than wearing a elegant dress from Lockwood or perhaps Granzella, we seem to forget what makes the character: clothes!
Moving on...
This year, Valentine's day embarked upon a journey to actually make this happy camper (that would be me) into a lover of Cupid's arrow. As many attempts of the arrow would seem to be shot straight at my heart, none would seem to connect as the little one that tried understood it's a holiday that I loathe the most.
Yes, Jin Lovelace has a personal vendetta against the holiday due to undeniable woes which can't be decomposed. However, my beliefs on the day really just bares down to how much I showcase my love and affection to whomever in life each and everyday.
As those arrows just whiz and zip past my head, my attention was caught when my eyes laid upon JAM Games' Desire Collection.
To say the least, the Desire Collection are definitely some of the most detailed outfits I've ever seen on Home. I say outfits due to the nature of the apparel, but given that these dresses feature wings of Cupid, they are considered as Costumes. So to jump right to the let down a bit: the apparel aren't separates at all, so no combo possibilities. Perhaps I tend to think of this as a great thing to avoid having these lovely designs martyred by the hands of the inexperience. The thing for me is that I wish I could have the option to wear those cute wings in the back instead of them being embedded, but they are barely noticeable.
The many pros about these: the colors and the embellishments on the apparel are outstanding! Two colors are greatly expressed with these outfits, as the intentions are charming and every bit of enchanting. I guarantee you, you'll entice the eyes of whomever is around.
There are four color choices for this collection:
-Cupid (White and Gold)
-Psyche (Pink and White)
-Venus (Black and Gold)
-Valentine (Red and Black)

For the male selection, you have the Black and White Desire Suits for a stylish, ravishing look. I'm not at all for the lack of mass on the male avatar though but for an exceptional appeal, these suits truly do bring the suave out of you.

Overall
This release really was for those who celebrate the holiday with their significant others, but I personally feel these wonderful designs are made to be used anytime, as they are just sensual without being so over-done. If you're really looking for something great to add into your outfit section of your wardrobe, do yourself a favor and check out JAM's Desire Collection. Who knows what's to come from this great developer.
Interview with JAM Games
My impression of this up and coming company really reaches my heart. My experience first came when it was announced of their RaceOn! fashion line. Anyone that knows me will tell you that I'm not into the quirky bits of items on Home, as the novelty of the commodity wears thin just after donning them a few times.
But I see JAM Games as a different little light that shines in the Home community. You see, JAM is great for their innovation and the charm that's lain into most of the items crafted. To give you a great example, the Gingerbread costumes are beyond one of the most cutest to ever release on Home; to see them in action--along with the ever-so-lovable Beebee Bots--is a feat you have to see for yourself.
One of the practices that I've noticed from JAM is their abundance of free items they drop with some of their releases. Though you may find a couple of generic T-Shirts here and there, I personally feel if this company had taken their time out to perform this feat for even some of the newbies to wear, then this is something that should be lauded. but at times, they go beyond the call and actually release some quality free items, for the example this Winter Sweater to the right. To actually allow a chance to concoct something incredible with the use of a free item is a jovial experience of its own.
So with so much curiosity that has been piqued enough that'll erupt like an active volcano, I had a sit down chat with one of the JAM Games team members, who goes by the name Em. For those who interacted with this individual knows of her light-hearted nature, along with such a great personality to boot.
Jin: For the viewers, do tell us who you are.
Em: Hello! I'm Em and I am a member of the JAM Games team. We've been on Home for about 4 months now and loving every minute of it! Home truly is a great place to be involved in, there is a lot of warmth from the Home community, fellow developers and fan groups and magazines a like, it truly is a community and we have been astounded by the warm welcome we have received!
Jin: Your recent release are some of the most quirky, yet fun commodity on Home charmed us all, from the BeeBee Bots to the adorable Gingerbread Costumes. Elaborate with us on these concoctions and your desire to create these for the community.
Em: Home is a fun place and we want to make content that reflects this mood, we also wanted to give people options, we're trying to release a broad collection that, over time, will give something to everyone. You can't make items that everyone will love all of the time, just as in reality, but our aim is to release content that ticks a number of boxes for different people at different times, something for everybody eventually! :)
Jin: What are your thoughts on the evolution of Home products? Will we see any locomotion items from you?
Em: Home is an amazing place to develop content for, there are restrictions on what is possible technically, but we are always trying to do new things and find ways of creating interesting items. The only real restriction is your imagination, something that we have a lot of, once you have an idea it's just about finding a way to make it work! As for locomotion items, yes we have a few ideas up our sleeve that we are developing at the moment!
Jin: Okay FASHION TIME! Your Race On Suits was a very original take on something that's rarely seen (or worn) on Home. What inspired you to create these fashions?
Em: They were inspired by the Garage apartment. We wanted to create an apartment that show cased our artistic ability, with intricate attention to detail that we believe users deserve when buying an apartment. The clothing and furniture items followed and added something special to the garage that was fun and stylish! We also made sure that we provided clothing options, for example there are two style of suits for the females, one overtly sexy and the other a little more restrained, providing choice.
What we didn't realise was that we were creating a wardrobe for the massive influx of locomotion items on Home, it's great to see our racing suits on the back of a motorbike! :D In fact they were so popular that there are more suits to come very soon and bundle options, something that we didn't do the first time around because we were new and learning! :)
Jin: So here at Twilight Touch, we expand beyond the imaginations and really provide a realm of where fashion meets reality to all that view our content. For this, the Painted Bare commodity was truly an eye-opener for me (personally).
Em: The Painted Bare Collection started as an inspired idea and then turned into a exercise in making it happen on Home, they aren't clothing items in the traditional sense of Home, but are layed on top of the actual skin of the avatar.
We have so many ideas of 'paint effects' that we want create, the first few outfits had to appeal to as many people as possible and were made to test the market to see if Home users actually liked the concept, now we know they do we're back to working on some more designs!
-Was there any thought to which these Suits would be risque for the Home community?
We took advice from Sony on this, that's why we had to have the bikini, we had to to make sure that, well, everything on the avatars was covered! Also we definitely wanted this work to be beautiful and artistic and sexy not just blatantly sexual. Views on the bikini have been split, some disappointed it was there, some very pleased it was. With the new designs we are working on reaching a happy medium on the bikini.
-HSMagazine Team Writer KLCgame written an article review on the Painted Bare items. Are there any thoughts on her view point about the items?
We loved that article because it was right on the mark. We, as a company, aren't out to shock or be controversial, we're here to make items that we think people will like and that add to the Home wardrobe as a whole.
It's also fun for us to try new things and see what is possible, as I said before there are limits as to what can be created, but it's all about using your imagination to find ways around any obstacles.
Em: With The Desire Collection we wanted to create a feel and a mood for valentine's day, for romance and a collection that was also fun! The outfits for the ladies have been so well received, they are very flattering and the accessories, like the halo and bow, and the wings add the fun element. The suits for the guys are simple elegance, the classic look is often the most appealing of all and they have proved a real hit. It is a collection that we hope to add to in the future.
Jin: Will we see anymore holiday style fashions from you? In fact, what is on the agenda for 2013 by JAM Games? :D
Em: We have so much planned for 2013 and I would love to tell you all about our ideas now, but we can't divulge too much information as yet! What you can expect to see from us though, is a lot more content in Home! We like making our mini collections for the different holidays because, it's quite simply, a lot of fun!
So on that note make sure to look out for a few items this St Patrick's Day and Easter!
