Street Style by Veemee

By Jin Lovelace; Founder and Fashionist

It's no surprise that Veemee are the ones responsible for such fashion brands like Billabong and Wrangler; two brands based on the real-world apparel. These virtual fashions--along with Diesel (whom have also had a hand in, just so you know)--have set a pioneer for Home to translate real life brands into virtual, with superb detail and accuracy. If it's one thing, Veemee assures us fashionistas that there is diversity in our wardrobes.

So coming May 22nd, Veemee showcases their passion for fashion, with a new line titled "Street styles".

Megastar Dress and Jacket - Pink

Suit Jacket - Black Skull

Superstar Cropped Jacket - Black
This also marks Veemee's first own fashion line, which is a departure from the likes of the aforementioned name brands. Not that is a bad thing at all here; these designs are highly legitimate and stylish to the core, making these quite accessible for anyone with urban taste. For anyone that aren't sure as to how the apparel would fit can rest assure; the tops aren't over-the-top. The motif on the Cropped Jacket are designed properly and enough to entice the eyes but not to distract the overall craftsmanship.

The clear winner here--for me--would be the pink Megastar Dress and Jacket combo. If it's one thing, Bolero Jackets like that are much needed on Home and I would like to see more combos like these in my wardrobe. The style and color combination are easy on the eyes and, again, not too distracting. The floral pattern also adds such a nice touch and brings curiosity to such wonderment of how the gown looks without the Jacket. Dare I say, let lose on the accessories!

Desert Jacket and Scarf - Khaki

Gold Chain Body Warmer - Black

Gold Chain Puffer Jacket - Blue
For the men, you have a few tops to choose from, all outfitted with Gold Chains and an assortment of different styles of Jackets. In my humble opinion, these are some of the more flavorful designs to date in the men's department. Exceptionally attractive and quite fitting, I might add.

Speaking of attractive, so are the prices: $0.99 per-item. For quality and of caliber from Veemee, this is much of a steal if you're looking for great fashion for an affordable price. The only thing I'm really hoping for are some matching pants to compliment the tops for each gender.

But for urban wear on Home, this is a good start from the developer who're quite known for releasing real-world brands on Home. As longs this is kept up and not stray into the over-exaggerating worlds of urban clothing that would feature too much "bling" or diamond-encrusted Bras and Hot Pants, then I'm more than inclined to take a stab at some fitting designer styles to concoct with these wonderful items.

Look for the release of the Street Styles come May 22nd.
