Touch of Spring - Review

From Codeglue comes a brand new line of clothing from Dani MtlDesigner, creator of the U Love Green collection.

By Jin Lovelace; TTi Founder

There is no denying that Codeglue and U Love Green Founder, Dani, are really enjoying themselves on Home. The brand is highly lauded for renovating  our wardrobes with clean lines and sheer simplicity to create a fascinating comforting apparel that never diminishes from value.

And the value of the fashion is one that I can appreciate very much, to be exact. Some times, such complexities in a virtual world where there's little to no differences between the halter top/micro-mini skirt combos to define such character and identity among the peers, it's nice to escape into a secluded retreat and retire to a nice relaxing Villa to allow the submerging sun wash away the arduous stress you've accumulated throughout the week with a pair of Boy Shorts and a Cami Top to soothe those nerves that's rattling your precious body.

Kind of imaginative for such virtual items based on the brand's real world counterpart, eh?

Well with Spring upon us, Codeglue and Dani MtlDesigner graces us with a brand new "Touch of Spring" line for the female avatars on Home.

To start off, the designs of these dresses are a clear cut above from the average party gowns that you see floating around in the Home community. Touch of Spring is much more than just a dress; it's good comfort. You can wear the dress anywhere, anytime and still holds that natural look only Dani knows how to implement.

The floral patterns are a delicate touch to dress scheme and doesn't distract the overall sensual flair. Simply put; it fits like a dream.

The color gradient ploy here and the choices behind it are delectable as well. Six colors to choose from (as pictured to the right), along with matching footwear--which are as vibrant as the apparel themselves--you can wear. In my humble opinion, Dani did a fantastic job on playing with different hues to complete give some depth to the design  and attractively heighten your avatar skin. What's more is your hairstyle options: I can't simply stress this enough that the shorter your hair, the more enthralling this dress becomes.

Lastly, I wish to discuss on the matching Touch of Spring - Sandals here. It's hard enough to find certain comfort footwear on Home that doesn't imply such an unattractive bulk on your feet. Here, these enchanting Sandals give whatever you're wearing much pop, with matching floral motives much akin to the dresses. Enticingly superb, really.

You can purchase the Touch of Spring dresses individually for $1.99, $0.99 for the Sandals, or you can purchase a two color bundle (along with the matching Sandals) for $3.99. Sweet deal!

Overall

I'm excited to see Dani venturing into new designing possibilities for Home. You can never go wrong with warm colors and intimate crafting for these dress, which is her signature. My only thing here is that I really would love to see some more takes on her hairstyles, along with a few cute accessory options. A lovely, subtle handbag would've completely made some of these dresses stand out a bit to add charm but you have six colors to choose from; could you possibly ask for more?

I greatly recommend this line to your wardrobe. :)
