TT First Taste: Element by Veemee

Fashion, Fashion, and now--thanks to Veemee--even more fashion with a new line of virtual clothing in the form of Element. Twilight Touch has the first taste of what's to come.

By Jin Lovelace

No denying that 2013 is the year of fashion on Home. A lot of surprises came about this year and much to chagrin, this community has seen some quality items not just for women but males as well.

Veemee, for one, has the renown for releasing such clothing based on the real-world apparel you can find at your local boutique, in particular the Billabong, Wrangler, and Diesel brands. These brands, thanks to the developer, have made such a social--and fashionable--impact to the Home community for its rich, exquisite details that expands beyond the generic items that you couldn't identify with. For most, some would like to think right outside the glare of the basic shorts and sexy top. We all wish to have a level of comfort to us, and thus expressing this would ideal to all, right?

Well the developer is releasing a new line of clothing based on yet another real-life brand, thanks to the folks from Element.

For those who aren't in the know, Element (or Element Skateboards, formerly known as "Underworld Element Skateboards") is a Skateboard company that manufactures skateboard decks, clothing, and footwear. The company is based in Irvine, California and became a subsidiary of--get ready for this--the Australian brand, Billabong.

The company was founded in 1992 under the "Underworld" surname as a collaboration but during the times of hardship, Element was soon to be absorbed by the Founder, Johnny Schillereff, and later dropped the portion of the name. Their stores can be found in New York City, Honolulu, Orlando (Universal City Walk), and Liverpool, just to name a few.

Element Brand Female Clothing

The US based fashion and skateboarding brand specializes in producing commodity for people who lead active lifestyles and who care about the environment around them, both in a local and global sense. The brand often refer to themselves as "conscious by nature" in the sense that they are conscious and mindful of the world around them and the people that inhabit it. This ecological awareness is reflected in the materials and manufacturing processes that they use.

Authentic - Olive

Henna - Black

Scorpio Pants
This sort of free-form feeling and the ethos behind the sense of fashion is a welcome pace to the Summer-style fashions found in Billabong and even some from Wrangler. There are two Tee's and a pair of Pants for the ladies (along with three Dresses) that reflects the goodness that's around. The level of detail from the Henna and Authentic Tanks looks as natural as real-life.

Rascal - Black

Lili Winter Dress aka "Mine soon"

Beaumont Dress

Each gown sports lavish colors that displays a level of sensational comfort on your avatar with enough style that isn't too complex, especially for the Beaumont Dress.

For the male wardrobe, there's something to be had when it comes to the sheer versatility and accessible clothing that'll get you thinking outside the skinny jeans and varsity jacket combos.

Providence - Black

Pulaski Pants

SanJuan Shirt

SanJuan Shorts - Red

Westport - Storm

Majors - Indigo

These are some lovely treats and I feel those who have a desire to see some more legitimate, casual styles for the male avatar are just getting a taste on what's to come. You're getting four tops, shorts and a pair of pants that're loose fit, and greatly detailed in style.

Overall, I'm enthralled to see a new line to come out and to have some diverse, comfortable styles. Look for these to release on September 11th. :)
