Twilight Touch is proud to officially announce our third fashion show, "Belle dis Moi". This article iterates on what will fully go down and what to possibly expect at the Show.
By Jin Lovelace; Founder and Fashionist.
There was something I've passed on to a few people that I believe would comprehend the meaning behind this passage...
"On May 25th, I'm about to destroy your reality and substitute it with my own."
What I mean by this is pretty simple: I've always had many come to me to ask how I create my outfits, why do I create such styles that looks nearly like something they could wear in the real world, or perhaps what goes through my mind when I film my work.
My past fashions have featured styles from one brand, and for my Models to let loose with their own concoctions and have fun with it. This time, it's my turn.
The fashion show "Belle dis Moi" is a fashion show that'll feature fashion designs created by your's truly. My reason for outputting such a fashion show is because for quite a while now, I feel the fashion scene on Home has become a bit too stagnant on presentation, quality, and egotism. In the wake of the developers who're releasing diverse items, not much differential traits in character can stand out amongst peers. We believe that the clothes doesn't make the person, but rather it's the people that makes them.
This may hold true to some cases but deep in Home there's no bounds to this, whereas it's possible to be whomever--whatever--we choose.
At this point of time, I feel this is the time where I could showcase a fashion show that may lead towards some steps to identity. In my eyes, not many are fitting themselves with such fashionable wear due to either the following:
-Those items make me look bulky and unattractive
-They don't define my avatar sensually enough
-Those items are lame and not accurate
-They aren't sexy enough
I find it hard to believe there are no such fashions to imply sexy without dressing in skimpy wear to make yourself look like a clown. I believe that quality is key to strike such poise and character; to embody a statement that anything is possible. To create such a motive to stimulate one's thoughts that there are times you could convey a tone of sensuality, but with a broaden imagination and enough talent one can pull off deep designs to enhance one's perspective to curiosity: would you wear it?
Thus, Belle dis Moi was created.
It is a fashion show that will feature such an imaginative world full of "whats", "hows", and "whys". My world of fashions and designs extends from the experience of creativity, artistry, and expression. Not only could I give such outfits I concoct a name, but I can decompose my reasoning for such constructs. Many can say their reasoning for creating such different styles is to bring something different to Home....
What could you say to this here? Different, right? Expression? Any form of sense as to how the style could conform to one's such personal taste? Or is it the style that remains exclusive to her own, of which not many could (or would) dare try to take?
I can simply tell you this: most don't know because they don't understand. Many don't understand unless they are shown that lesson. However, it varies from person to person upon their motive but seemingly on Playstation Home, such vitriol exists out of spite on what their "leaders" say.
For Belle dis Moi, this is a matter of opening your mind. To peer into one's imagination, one's world who's hard work and passion for the medium here on Home (and the artistry lain outside of this virtual reality) is creative expression. So many will desire to wear items to address their sexy nature but half will pass up on such quality items and, thus, none are bought because of the denigrating nature within certain organizations and groups.
So instead of telling you what you won't get at this show, I'll purvey to you what you will and then some.
Format: The show will be in a Runway format. This is to assure quality assurance of the styles featured, with designs from certain perspectives.
Versatility: you will see different styles with the use of items that you may/may not have thought of wearing or pairing at all. Some are either favorites of mine, or newly created. Some revisited, some aren't.
Experience: this isn't for popularity purposes; this is to give to the community whom I've served for 5-6 years on Home. This is the time to showcase to you--the viewers--a goal I've strived for a long time to achieve.
Fashion: we're not talking about just art here. I'm talking about actual fashions that will convey a contemplative nature for your inquiries.
There are some questions that mst have asked, to which is the time now that I can address.
Q: Is this a fashion contest?
A: No. This isn't the usual fashion show where the best dressed will walk away with a PSN Card. These Models have either been approached, volunteered, or are my personal Models under my brand.
Q: What items will be shown?
A: A great range of fashions that either doesn't exists on Home any longer to modern fashions with subtle themes.
Q: I see five known developers on the Flyer. What does that mean?
A: This is the first to have a fully-sponsored fashion show featured on Playstation Home. All have supported Twilight Touch and put up with my love for fashion on Home and their products for many years.
Q: That's great and all but will there be prizes?
A: Yes! To showcase our gratitude to our viewers, members, and Models on Home and in Twilight Touch, we will be giving away Home fashion and decor prizes to our viewers who tunes in to our live stream event.
Q: Wait, live stream?
A: Yes, this event will be live streamed by a personality over at Alphazone4. This is for those who can't attend our live audience and wish to enjoy the show without the nuisance of network issues found on Home. The show will be streamed live on Twitch.TV
Q: Will there be announcements?
A: One isn't at liberty to say but by this time and, of course, the day of the fashion show event we will have a couple of major announcements for all. I will say this: I guarantee you, you don't want to miss this.
Q: Are there anymore room to be a Model for this event?
A: Certainly. All doors will remain open until Wednesday, May 22nd. I will only accept a modest number of Models who must have vast knowledge on the items present on Home--past and present--and a willing, open mind to my designs.
Q: Are there any themes we should look out for?
A: I assure you there won't be any sort of "Space Western Samurai" themes that're just to unbelievable. However, there will be such revisiting themes like "Four Seasons" and "Midnight Feast" to convey seasonal fashions.
Q: Will there be a dress code for the members?
A: All I ask is to please dress sensible and presentable. For the males: no topless torsos or skinny jeans. Women: please dress comfortable. No micro-mini skirts and swimsuit tops.
Q: What is that?
A: **BM67-JLNC-N8FA** What are on EARTH are you talking about?
Q: That?!
A: **B6RG-GANL-LEQH** Hm?
Q: THAT!
A: **TCP2-FRNE-NAQ2** Well I don't have the slightest idea you're talking about. It's naturally funny that you would ask these questions, of which you don't have a proper base to valid your reasoning to these such inquiries.
Q: If I wish to attend the show, where can I sign in?
A: You can go ahead and reserve here or send an in-Home Club invitation request to Twilight Touch. First come, first serve.
Q: What is Twilight Touch again?
A: We're a fashion house for Playstation Home with over 100+ fashion articles featuring decorative tips, PR articles, and fashion designs for the Home community. We've also house 90+ fashion videos featuring diversed sets and catalogs for the fashionistas in mind. This is for the love and passion for fashion, and not for popularity contests or to seek attention like primadonnas.
Q: will there be an after-party?
A: Yes, and there is more to come on that announcement.
So if you wish to expand your mind on the fashions on Home, and wish to gain some inspiration on certain designs and items provided, then come to Belle dis Moi.
